Tickets to Garth Brooks' concert Nov. 14 in Kansas City, Mo., will go on sale Saturday in Wichita at FYE music store in Towne East Square.

The price is $31 per ticket, including all fees, with a limit of six tickets per person.

Tickets also may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 785-234-4545, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Concert promoters on Wednesday released this procedure for obtaining tickets at FYE music store in Wichita:

? Wristbands will be issued beginning at 10 a.m. today and ending at 7 p.m. Friday, or until supplies run out. No more than one per customer will be allowed.

? If you arrive at the store after wristbands have been depleted or after 7 p.m. Friday, you may go to the "late line" Saturday, behind those with wristbands.

? To be eligible to buy tickets, wristband customers must return to the store where the wristband was obtained by 8:45 a.m. Saturday. If you arrive after 8:45 a.m., your wristband will be voided and you will go to the "late line."

? The starting wristband number will be announced at each ticket center at 9 a.m. Saturday. The person with the matching number will be first in line.

? "Late line" customers can start lining up, first come, first served, at 9 a.m. Saturday in the designated area . They will line up behind the wristband line once the final wristband line has been formed.

Country singer Garth Brooks is set to perform in Kansas City at the Sprint Center on

November 14, 2007.

After a total of seven years the country singer is set to perform at a "one night performance" in Kansas City. In a recent interview Brooks released a statement on why he selected the particular venue and city for his performance "Several months ago, we'd announced that we would perform a thank-you concert for our friends at Wal-Mart. They suggested either Fayetteville Arkansas or Kansas City."

In August Garth Brooks announced the release of a new box set called 'The Ultimate Hits.' The package included 30 hits and four new songs, and will be released in Wal-Mart stores on November 6, 2007.



The album's first single entitled 'More Than a Memory', was released on September 4, 2007. Other new songs will include a duet with Huey Lewis, 'Midnight Sun,' and more.

Tickets for the Nov. 14 show will go on sale Saturday (10/6) at 10 a.m. CDT, and sales will be restricted to residents of Missouri and Kansas, as well as portions of Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma. According to a press release, the show is Brooks' way of expressing his gratitude to Wal-Mart, with whom he recently inked a two-year marketing deal. Brooks' next release, the three-disc best-of "The Ultimate Hits," will be sold only at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club outlets. The set is due in Wal-Mart's stores Nov. 6.

Brooks went on to thank the Kansas City venue's owner, the Anschutz Entertainment Group, which "was kind enough to help us out with this concert and offered the opening of the new Sprint Center. We were thrilled since this allowed us the opportunity to make this an even bigger party by opening up the concert to the public."

The 18,500-seat Sprint Center will officially open to the public with an Oct. 13 Elton John concert.

Brooks, who retired from touring in 2001 to spend more time with his family, admitted recently that he was nervous about returning to the road after such a long layoff.

"I'm scared to death because, I mean if you've ever stood outside a race track, and try to figure out how in the world do you ever get up to that speed without getting run over, that's where I'm at," the singer said at a Nashville press conference in August announcing the release of a new three-disc best-of set, "The Ultimate Hits."

Brooks is the fastest-selling solo artist in music history, moving more than 100 million albums in 10 years, according to his website.

After Capitol Records honored him for hitting the 100 million mark in October 2000, Brooks broke the news that he would record his final record for the label and then give up touring to be a stay-at-home dad.

His final album for Capitol, "Scarecrow," surfaced in November 2001 and marked his seventh No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200.
